Paint mason jars

For this, all you need are some mason jars, a little paint, and maybe some twine to wrap around the top. All super inexpensive!

One of my hobbies is candle making, and I use mason jars a lot so these were just extras I had lying around. I know you can get a big pack of mason jars for super cheap at the store, too.

I’ve done plaid, pumpkin colors, and a candy corn pattern on my jars, but really any fall-ish colors will work for this (think maroons, browns, tans, oranges…you get the vibe!).

Make your own signs

fall diy decor

This one is for all you Cricut and Silhouette users out there! I made this Pumpkin Patch sign with a stencil that I designed and created with my Cricut.

The actual wood sign was purchased in a pack of 4 or 5 on Amazon. It was pretty inexpensive! Then, I just stained the wood, put on my stencil with stencil vinyl, and painted with an off-white paint.

I’ve seen a ton of cute wooden signs on the market, but they are EXPENSIVE. That’s why I prefer to make my own when I can. It’s not nearly as hard as it seems if you know how to use a Cricut or Silhouette!

Use old sweaters or flannels to make pumpkin decor

I love a cute lil sweater pumpkin!!! And they are SO EASY to make! This orange one took me about half an hour and I used materials that I already had at my house.

These little crafts are perfect for me because I am the queen of cozy sweaters and I HATE getting rid of them. Using them and repurposing them for these makes me feel happy.

To make these pumpkins, I used an old sweater sleeve, twine, rubber bands, and dried black beans. This is one of the easiest, quickest, and cutest fall crafts I have done.

Everyone loves a great fall scented candle, right?! Candles are the best, and you don’t need to spend $25+ per candle when you learn to make them yourself!

It may seem intimidating, but it’s actually pretty simple and it can help you get that cozy fall vibe you need in your home.

You’ll need some supplies if you want to turn this into a hobby, but there are also easy ways to make candles without too many supplies.
